About Event

From 2pm: Law Students Conference

Get ready for an afternoon of good food, great company, and even better conversations. AFES and NSWCLS are teaming up to bring you Wise Beginnings for Law Students, followed by our Meet the Profession dinner, all happening at St James Church. Law students, come through from 2pm for the conference and stick around for dinner.

Our speakers are Steve Frost (Founder, Horizons Family Law Centre), Vanessa Lai, Jacob Carson GAICD and Peter Wrench (City Legal).

From 6pm: Meet the Profession Dinner with special guest speaker Justice Michael Meek

Our special guest speaker for dinner is NSWCLS Patron Justice Michael Meek. His Honour will be speaking on "What career advice would I give my younger self?"

Following His Honour's address, Justice Michael Meek will join a panel comprising of Dr Mark Fowler (President, NSW Christian Legal Society and Chair, ACLS) and Paul Winch (AFES Senior Staff for Credo) chaired by Stella Loong (CEO, ACLS).

If you're working in the law, please join us from 6pm for dinner and to share your experience with the next generation.
